Inmate Profile Listing Prices
Applying is free. If a paid profile application is accepted, payment is required after acceptance and before profile writing assistance and profile preparation begin. Standard and Enhanced are the paid profile-listing options available to new applicants. Founding Pilot is closed to new applications.
LockedIn Letters charges for profile preparation, publication, and optional visibility features. Fees do not purchase correspondence or guarantee attention, replies, friendship, or any other outcome.

Optional Visibility Add-Ons
Add-ons are available only for eligible approved profiles through the private, profile-specific add-on workflow.
Rotation Boost
Provides an eligible Standard profile with 30 days of eligibility in the fair-chance homepage rotation pool. The least recently shown eligible profile moves forward next, and past-seven-day homepage impression statistics are tracked.
Rotation Boost does not guarantee priority, a particular homepage position, a specific number of appearances, or more frequent turns than another eligible profile. The Standard profile remains in the directory after the boost expires.
Available only for an eligible approved profile that does not already have active Enhanced rotation eligibility.
Request a Private Add-On LinkBirthday Shout-Out
Celebrate an eligible approved participant with a public Friday profile-promotion post that encourages visitors to view the participant’s profile and create a birthday wish.
The post may use the participant’s separately authorized display name, approved public photograph, public profile link, and general birthday wording. Birthday month, day, and year remain private unless public display of the month and day has been separately authorized.
LockedIn Letters does not deliver visitor birthday wishes. Visitors who choose to write must send their correspondence independently through USPS or a facility-approved provider.
A Birthday Shout-Out is $10 for one Friday post per participant. One Birthday Shout-Out is included during an active Enhanced Profile term, subject to the same authorization requirements. Additional Birthday Shout-Outs are $10 each.
Enhanced included benefit: $0 when entitlement applies.

Available now to eligible approved profiles through the private add-on process.
Subject to availability. Submitting a request does not guarantee a requested date.
Only one profile may occupy the exclusive main homepage banner at a time. Availability and applicable authorization or consent requirements are confirmed before payment or activation. A preferred date is nonbinding and is not reserved by an email or private-form submission. The 72-hour period begins when the owner manually activates the takeover. An active takeover cannot be replaced or shortened by another request.

- The original submitter associated with an approved profile asks LockedIn Letters to issue a private, profile-specific add-on link.
- The email request only asks LockedIn Letters to issue the private link. It does not submit, purchase, reserve, schedule, or activate an add-on.
- LockedIn Letters confirms that the profile is eligible.
- Homepage Takeover availability is confirmed when that add-on is requested.
- Applicable participant authorization and consent requirements must be satisfied.
- The private link expires after 14 days.
- The private link may be submitted once.
- A preferred date is nonbinding. An email request or private-form submission does not reserve a requested date.
- Payment occurs only after review.
- Activation occurs manually after all applicable requirements are satisfied.
Payment, Activation, and Renewal
Applying to list a profile is free. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or publication. For a paid profile package, payment is required after acceptance and before profile writing assistance and profile preparation begin.
Founding Free and Founding Pilot profiles may remain active for up to one year. Standard and Enhanced profiles remain active for one year. Profile packages do not renew automatically. LockedIn Letters sends a reminder before an active profile term expires.
Add-on requests are reviewed before payment or activation. Payment for an add-on occurs only after review. A preferred add-on start date is nonbinding. Neither an email request nor a private-form submission reserves a requested date. Add-ons are activated manually. Add-ons do not renew automatically.
Founding Pilot is closed to new applications. Previously accepted Founding Pilot participants retain their approved price and term.

Choose the profile option and visibility features that fit what you want to include. The incarcerated person, a family member or friend, or authorized staff may complete the application. Every application is reviewed, and applying does not guarantee approval or publication.
