What profile information is public, and why is writer registration required for additional information?
Basic approved profile information is public. A free writer account with email verification, a self-reported date of birth, and adult confirmation is required for complete approved stories, correspondence information, and any additional photographs designated for registered writers. LockedIn Letters does not independently verify every writer’s identity or age through government identification.
Who can submit a profile application?
An incarcerated adult using approved outside assistance, a family member or friend, or authorized staff may submit an application. The participant must authorize the final wording, photographs, and publication before a profile is posted.
When is payment required?
